Dean was previously Managing Director of Advanced Business Solutions, part of Advanced Computer Software Group Limited (previously Advanced Computer Software plc (“ACS”)), where he led the impressive growth of the Public Sector and Enterprise division following the acquisition of COA Solutions in 2010. Dean was part of the senior management team that sold ACS to Vista Private Equity for £725 million in March 2015. Dean has over 30 years’ operational experience in the software industry and was one of four directors at Walker Inc responsible for an MBO backed by Alchemy Private Equity in 2002 to form a new business called Arelon. Arelon merged with Cedar in 2003 and was rebranded COA Solutions where he became Deputy Managing Director for the business as a whole.
Haywood has significant technology sector expertise having held senior finance roles at FTSE 250 and Fortune 300 companies. Most recently Haywood has been Group Financial Controller of Infinity SDC, a private equity backed Data Centre operator. Before that Haywood held a number of senior finance positions at Northgate Information Solutions, having trained at PwC and gained M&A experience working in PwC’s transaction Services Team.
James has been Castleton’s Chief Operating Officer since April 2018 with previously held roles of Product Strategy Director and Sales Director at Castleton. He also worked at Capita for 13 years gaining a solid background in account management, pre-sales and consultancy. With over 21 years’ experience accumulated working directly within the social housing space, James brings a unique blend and passion for forward-thinking technology balanced against an understanding of the sector challenges and demands.
With over 20 years’ software development experience, Ian plays a hands-on roll within the organisation, defining the product strategy and development plans for our suite of solutions. Overseeing a large team of developers here in the UK and collaborating extensively with the development and testing operation in India, Ian brings product innovation to the forefront of his teams thinking, ensuring our solutions are created with the customer in mind.
Doug’s experience of mathematical modelling systems originated in 1999, with the set-up of a software company specialising in modelling software and services for the pharmaceutical industry. In 2002, Doug was part of the original team which brought the HousingBrixx software to the market. Since its incorporation by Castleton in 2015, he continues to manage this industry-established strategic modelling tool, bringing invaluable consultancy, sales, operational and business development experience.
Ben has worked extensively in senior management roles, most recently at Cloudhouse Technologies where he engaged with Global Cloud Vendors and major Blue-chip enterprises on their Cloud Migrations and Legacy IT strategies as CDO. Prior to that he played a key role in the early days of Babylon Health where he oversaw the design and architecture of their global backend cloud infrastructure and refined their DevOps approach and tooling. Ben’s background also includes extensive experience working with Healthcare and Social Care providers, and he served a term on Dell’s EMEA Healthcare and Lifecycle Advisory Board as well as being CIO at Advanced Health and Care.
Jimmy has been Software Sales & Marketing Director at Castleton since November 2014 and is now heading up the New Business Sales Division within Castleton. With over 30 years’ experience within the software industry, he has worked at IBS OPENSystems, before moving to Documotive in 2011. Jimmy is responsible for all the New Business and Commercial Sales for Castleton Software Services. His knowledge and experience within the sector has been instrumental when developing our new solutions and making sure they cater to the tailored needs of the social housing space.
Mark has worked across a number of senior management positions within the technology sector including companies as Energis, Netstore plc and Technology Services Group. With comprehensive experience in areas of customer relationships, sales, strategic planning, change management and resource alignment, Mark has a great vision for the sales team he manages and is a huge advocate of Castleton's company values, which are orientated around delivering an excellent customer experience.
Laura has a 17-year track record delivering Human Resource Management to a wider spectrum of companies, including Amazon UK, Vodafone, Rexel UK, and Home Retail Group PLC. Laura seeks out the very best skill sets for Castleton’s requirements, ensuring the people employed match the values and ethos of the company.
